You might be wondering where are the Africa pictures? Because I have been so absorbed in setting the scene for this part of our journey, I have neglected to show you any of the images that we captured in our time there. So I’m going to make a small slide show, just to hold you over until I get to the wild animal part. I hope these tempt your curiosity enough to put up with a little bit more of my stories, memories and ramblings.
These images are of Kruger Park and were largely taken by Deysi. I was manning the video camera for most of our trips thru the park. Kruger Park is about 2,000,000 hectares or about the same size as Isreal, Belgium or about 2/3 as big at Vancouver Island. Remember once inside the park there are no fences, safe havens or MacDonalds. Just you and these wild animals. Please enjoy this little entrada (spanish for appetizer).

I am beginning to understand why you told me SA was probably the most beautiful country your career took you to!
