OUR SHORT TIME IN AMERICA’S CAPITOL IN PHOTOS
We had a relatively brief stay near Washington, DC but used every spare moment seeing the sights and learning about this magic place. The girl’s were stoically silent and accompanied us on all of our excursions. In this post, I am just going to display some photos in and around DC as well as the surrounding areas and states. I hope you enjoy them. However, I also understand that I may be the only one that does. I spend countless hours looking at old pictures of our life and travels; thinking of days gone by and the times we had.
MY GOD WE HAD SEEN SOME SIGHTS, AND WE WERE STILL ONLY A PART WAY THROUGH OUR JOURNY ANGE TRYING ON A SPACE CAPSULE IN THE SMITHSONIAN DOWNTOWN DC, I THINK WE WERE TRYING TO FIND THE HARD ROCK CAFE ON THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON ANGE AND I GOING INTO FORD’S THEATRE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO LINCOLN ONE OF OURS, AND EVERYONE ELSE’S FAVORITE PHOTO STOPS ANOTHER OF THE RARE PHOTOS OF RON, SHE WAS GROWING FAST! RON WITH A FRIEND ON A TOUR OF GEORGETOWN MAKING BREAD LIKE THE PILGRIMS. THIS IN VIRGINIA 1993 ANGE AT THE VIETNAM MEMORIAL. A VERY HUMBLING SITE AT THE FOUNTAIN IN THE MALL, WASHINGTON DC. IN A GROTTO 1993 ONE DAY WE TOOK A RIDE TO THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY FOR A LOOK SEE ANGE AND HER BUD ROSCO. HE WOULD PLAY ANYTHING. HERE, STIRRING THE DOUGH RON AT THE END OF THE “MALL” IN WASHINGTON, 1993 ALWAYS IN FASHION, DEYSI MADE ME DRESS UP EVEN FOR A TOUR IN DC. RELAXING AT HOME IN ROCKVILLE, MD. JUST PRIOR TO FINDING OUT THAT SHE WAS CANADIAN ANGE AND ROSCO, ALWAYS TOGETHER, THEY WERE GREAT BUDDIES ON ONE OF OUR WALKS AROUND THE “MALL” IN DC. ON THE CAPITOL STEPS WITH OUR FRIENDS SINCE JAPAN THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN TAKEN AT SIX FLAGS OR ANOTHER OF THE AMUSEMENT PARKS AROUND DC. ANOTHER BIRTHDAY, BY NOW SHE HAD GROWN OUT OF CANDLES AND DISPLAYS OF EMOTION ANGE WAS STILL DEEP INTO BIRTHDAYS, HERE SHE WAS 9 YEARS OLD

We were only ten years away from the digital camera age. The pics you are looking at are still copies from a paper photo. Not the best quality, but I’m glad you like them.
