AREQUIPA, PERU, 1920

A highly experienced pilot with more than 22,000 flight hours who was a Pilot Officer in the Canadian Air Force during the Second World War and later (Late 70s) a Majes MACON pilot of a Cessna plane.

Editors note: this post is from my younger brother-in-law on Deysi’s side and shows a picture of their hometown in Peru and the cathedral in the main square during a “flyby” in 1920. MACON, that he refers to was the company his sister, older brother and I worked on in the Andes in the ’70s. Incredible that he was still flying 50+ years later!
